How to practice American mahjong
A full table is the game. Practice is one decision, repeated, until the reason is obvious. You do not need a card reprint to do that. You need the official card beside you, and a single question.
Pick one question
- Charleston: did that pass show the suit I am leaving?
- Discard: does this tile match an exposure across the table?
- Endgame: can the wall still finish this hand, or is it time for defense?
Play the question for a few hands, online or at the table. Write down the Costly and OK calls. The same few tend to return. That list is the practice plan.
